The Directorate General of Migration Management has introduced visa e-Residence system (residence cards for Residence Permit) and if the Residence permit documents of the foreigners being submitted on the first application and second application for residence permit and for the renewal resulted positively, the same is being sent to the address of the foreigners whose address was mentioned in the application (address of stay in Turkey) via PTT Cargo.
The residence permit card issued and delivered at the foreigners address as mentioned on the application is found to be incorrect or if the foreigner is not available at the address residence permit of the individual will be returned to the PTT cargo Office and will not be delivered to any third person instead it will be kept for a period of 10 days and if not received within the stipulated period it will be returned to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.
At the time of the applying for Residence Permit and after the process completed foreigners are intimated via SMS the mail tracking number (barcode) through mobile, in order to follow the delivery process of their residence permit delivered to Cargo.
It is now compulsory to write the address and mobile phone number correctly on the application for the applying residence permit through visa e-Residence system!
All residence permit cards are sent through PTT cargo to the foreigners address and it is never delivered through hand or with difference procedures.
